Response to Comment

The following is a response to a comment on my last post from "Anonymous".

POST SOMETHING NEW! U KEEP WASTING OUR TIME BY SAYING CHECK OUT MY BLOG, BUT U HAVENT EVEN POSTED THIS YEAR!
O YEA ITS SO FUN READING THE SAME THING 50 TIMES...

For your information, I have not asked anyone to read my blog ever since my last post four months ago. So you either have Alzheimer's, or you're some idiot in my class who just loves to piss me off. Don't you have better things to do than complain about a blog that died ages ago?

Mars

Never mind, I'm updating instantly. I'm posting this just for the sake of not forgetting about it in a couple days.

It's a Christmas miracle. At about 1:00 AM December 25, I was able to see Mars. It looked like a normal star, but it was unusually bright with a somewhat red "aura". Something very interesting I also saw was what appeared to be a meteor streaking across the sky close to Mars. It was a great experience, seeing Mars and also confirming with my mom that something DID streak across the sky, and it was not just my imagination. I have to go to bed, so I cannot provide a picture. Just imagine a full Moon with a bright red "star" close to it, with a meteor streaking past very fast.

Christmas!

Shoot; I haven't updated forever. My presents aren't bad, besides the fact that I haven't gotten them yet. They're arriving in the mail sooner or later. I might not update my blog anymore.

See ya.

Snow!

Yay, one of the first signs of winter are here - snow! I hope there's a blizzard this year, but I bet the NYC schools will still force us to go. Well, I want to try to build a snowman this year...

Caught

I'm at computer class in school right now. On my way in, I looked out of the second floor window and saw one of the lunch ladies smoking weed. In other news, I've accumulated another list of stuff to blog about (this time it's called "The Holy Blible"). I have been wanting to blog about it every since the day after the previous post, but you should know I procrastinate. A lot. Yeah.

New monitor

I finally got my new computer monitor! It's the 22" HP w2207. It's huge, and it can rotate 90 degrees. That way I can browse really long web pages with minimal scrolling. When you rotate the monitor, it rotates the desktop automatically. The colors are really nice, thanks to the 1000:1 contrast ratio. The footprint is not bad either, less than one square foot. You can even put things under the monitor, as you can see in the picture. There's a cardboard thing under the monitor because for some reason it's not completely level with the table, so now the stand is crooked and the screen is level. This has brought me one more notch up the ladder of geekdom.

School... school... Demonoid

Recently, I got a 100 in both Spanish and Math. Happiness =D. Annas (and Paul, he made me write this) pissed off the Dance teacher this week too, last week being the first Dance class. Dance was boring, Annas (and Paul) made all of us have a silent sitting period. We got the Math score today, he read most of the scores out loud. He says the person's name, they say if they want their score read out loud, and most of them say yes. A few notable people (all girls, of course) said no, but I won't mention any names. A while earlier, I also got a 97 on the Science test. I would have gotten a hundred if I knew that we were supposed to draw arrows, that signify the dimensions of the object we drew, on them. (Point, line, square, cube) Adel called me supernatural. I feel no immediate superiority whatsoever though. They could have gotten a hundred anyways.

When I took the bus home from school, my friend wasn't wearing his glasses because he was a stowaway. He forgot his bus pass, so he was worried that he would get kicked off the bus. He said that he would hide his face from the driver too. It's not that life-threatening...

My favorite BitTorrent tracker network, Demonoid, was shut down by the CRIA. I hope it comes back online... And today I downloaded Naruto Shippuuden 33 at a blazing peak speed of about 1.4 Mbps. The screenshot was taken at the speed of 1.3 Mbps. The download was finished in only three minutes and forty seconds.
